there's also a thing that has 'advocating for youth in the court system' that im considering and that might be more my speed, but fostering was the first thing that occurred to me because it also means i get to sit on the couch and teach the kid history or something when im bored |

He had a 16 year old son. Girl they were trying to adopt was 15. Foster system told them they could do anything with the girl that they'd do with their own kids.
Turns out they let their kid smoke a molasses hooka and play cards against humanity, which they did with the girl. Their house is apparently small and whenever he'd have sex w his wife, there would be a shaking on the other side of the house. The son kept claiming there was a ghost in the house and brought it up the weekend the foster kid was there. Dude decided this was the time to fess up that it was he and his wife having sex and that it's ok to have sex if you're married. He went on to say that you can even have a sex swing if you want when you're married.
Girl goes back to the foster home and tells them all about smoking a hooka, playing cards against humanity and hearing about the parents sex swing. He ended up getting put on a child abuse registry as a result. I ended up having to file a suit to get him off. |
