That was a 897623896329823761978 trip. Started off in XO Columbus to catch the spring game. The Bucks are going to be SICK this year, looking tough. My buddy does NIL deals for a lot of the players, so he brought me to a booster gala that Sat eve where we got TANKED with the coaching staff and a lot of former players (all conservaheros). After we had to go to one of the current player's bday parties which was...interesting.

Many poaster shit on Alinea in shitcago, and I agree that the over the top theatrics are aimed at gutter proles like cslg, but the food was actually exceptional. I know some idiot proles like that nerd would say it was 180 but not explain why because really he didn't care for it but are afraid everyone might see through the sad act, so I will go into slightly more detail. When you go to a 3 michelin, you really want to see them put together combinations and ingredients you would never imagine going together, but to do it in a seamless way that turns out phenomenal tasting cuisine. They really didn't have a single course that was a miss in the entire 3-4 hour long production. Even the corn based cocktail they served in the kitchen was good enough that i'd order it in a bar. While they don't change the menu as frequently as a place like Mirazur, well fucking done to them to be able to revamp the menu every few months and still come up with that many homerun dishes. Their signature is the balloon and the ice cream at the end, and that was the tackiest and probably worst part of the meal. I am sure it's the most instagrammable. Would return, but our server said for a totally new experience, best to only go once/year. Def go gallery over salon.

On to SOUTH DAKOTA. Rapid City is a cool little town of around 75k, unfortunately, while SD is RED AF, there are a few freak libs in Rapid because I guess they have nowhere else to go. There's also an ECHL team and an arena football league team, but sadly I didn't see either. The Hotel Alex Johnson is historic, old timey but has seen better days. For now it's pretty much the only game in town, good roof bar. Most of the restaurants in town are overpriced to gape tourists. Not much of interest in town aside from statues of various POTUS on street corners.

15 or so minutes away outside the gates to Ellsworth AFB there is a 897098709 aviation museum. They had a B-29, a B-52, a B-1 (current whip of the 28th Bomb Wing) and a variety of other aircraft. Ellsworth will be the first to work the B-21 into service.

It was 75 the week before we got to SD, and 65 the week after we left but cold AF and snowing for part of our stay. Our first visit to Mt. Rushmore was in the snow, and you can see Georgie Dubs appear to be crying, no doubt because of what libs have done to our country. Mt. Rushmore is impressive AF and should be a MUST for all AMURICANS, before libs blow it up or put George Floyd on it.

After Rushmore we went to the Crazy Horse memorial...lol just fucking lol. They have been "working" on it for over 70 years and made essentially zero progress. Put down the firewater my guy! The "museum" was just a bunch of Indian whiney bullshit. How about you just say THANK YOU for civilizing your savage loser tribes and letting you live and have casinos. STFU.

We stopped in Wall on the way to the Minuteman NHS...meh. Not on most itins, the Minuteman NHS was 8798790709. There is a visitor center with great info about the Cold War and a film that dives into some of our near misses. Then you can prebook a tour to a C&C facility (pictured). The upstairs looks like a 90's house, where the noncoms were posted up while the missileers were down below linked to 50 ICBMs ready to FUUUUAAAARK up our enemies. Sadly post-Cold War the missile wing at Ellsworth has been shut down and we have only 400-450 ICBM operational (allegedly). After the C&C tour, we drove further down the road to see an ICBM in it's silo, soo CR.

Badlands was fucking mindblowing, unreal scenery, this country is fucking astounding. Maybe if we forced libs to visit these places they would stop being so intent on destroying everything good about this place. There were even some Bison.

Deadwood is mostly filled with people who live nearby (Spearfish, Sturgis, Rapid all within 45m drive) who come for the weekend to get fucked up and gamble, but there were some decent museums and nice history, especially if you watched Deadwood. Wu...Swergin stop San Francisco COCK SUCKKKKKAAAAA. On the way from Rapid to Deadwood we drove a scenic route passing through the Doane Robinson and Scovel-Johnson tunnels which was cool and went back to Mt. Rushmore in nicer weather. It was worth it, as you could make out much more detail vs when the stone was wet. Unreal place.

From Deadwood we drove out to WY to see Devils Tower, which involved more Indian whining, but was a very cool natural feature. After that, a night out at the dive bars of Rapid before calling it a wrap. SD is HIGHLY recommended.

It is not. Although it has theodore roosevelt natl park and medora which is a campy old west town (no gambling like deadwood though), but it doesn’t compare to south dakota in my book. Naturemos will tell you theodore roosevelt actually has prettier parts but i dunno. They sell the TR connection hard. Havent been there since a teenager on family trips. Have made many business trips to ND and lived in the eastern part for a little while but SD is more CR.

You can do a deep dive on this but all bison have some small percentage of domestic cattle in their lineages. Not enough to screw them up like an actual mule, but it's there. Kind of like humans and neanderthals.

The way you captured the imagery of George Washington crying for America 2024 is beautiful

A childless 45 year old man with an allowance wrote this:

"When you go to a 3 michelin, you really want to see them put together combinations and ingredients you would never imagine going together, but to do it in a seamless way that turns out phenomenal tasting cuisine. Def go gallery over salon."
