After the fall of Lin Biao in 1971, the Gang of Four became influential in 1972, and the Revolution continued until Mao's death in 1976, soon followed by the arrest of the Gang of Four. a lot of the leftist protests against vietnam were pro-ussr/china/nva/castro etc, which in retrospect was horrific. Pre-1991 leftism went out of its way to defend a lot of terrible atrocities committed by communists. |
